Verkhovna RADA was previously swallowed in a budget code for an unscrupulous agreement.
On Tuesday, May 13, the parliament in the first reading supported the bill No. 13256 on amendments to the Budget Code for the implementation of an agreement on minerals with the United States. The draft law was supported by 286 deputy people. Voting by law in the second reading is expected in early June. The deputy people Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the contribution of Ukraine will consist of half of the funds received after the entry into force of the agreement from:
- Rent for minerals (oil, gas, gas condensate and everything that is indicated in the appendix and to the agreement) from new licenses;
- release of new special permits for the use of subsoil;
- Implementation of the state part of the products in accordance with new agreements on the distribution of products.
Zheleznyak noted that this money will be taken into account in the special state budget fund. They will be transferred to the reconstruction fund by the decision of the chief manager.
Let me remind you that if such an agreement would work for 5 years since 2019, it would bring about 71 million dollars, ”the deputy people emphasized.
Recall that on May 1, Ukraine and the United States signed an unfair agreement, which provides for the creation of an investment fund of reconstruction between the United States. Rada Verkhovna ratified it on May 8.
On May 12, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law on ratification of this Agreement.
