Donald Trump arrived in Saudi Arabia. This is the first official visit of his new presidential term.
The US president went down from the Air Force aircraft in the capital of the Kingdom of Er -Riyad and met with the leader of the country, the heir to Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
In the photographs of news agencies, they are sitting together at the airport of King Khalid in Er -iad, along with portraits of members of the royal family of Saudi Arabia. The meeting also has the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Donald Trump plans to spend part of tomorrow today. Then the US president will go to Qatar and the UAE.
According to the BBC correspondent, the main goal of Trump’s trip to the Middle East is to attract additional investments in the United States.
A trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE will be Trump’s first official visit to Trump since the beginning of a new presidential term.
At the end of April, Trump went to Italy by the president of the United States, but this trip was not planned in advance and was connected with a visit to the funeral of Pope Francis.
Saudi Arabia was the first country to visit Trump during his previous presidential term. This violates the tradition of us, presidents, the first, visit key allies, such as Mexico and Canada.
Trump also plans to visit the three richest countries of the Persian Gulf – Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. These countries have already promised to invest trillions in the United States, positioning themselves as the key partners of Washington in the settlement of global conflicts – from the Middle East to Ukraine.
