In a letter to Kobakhidze indicated the “proximity of the views” of the White House and the Georgia authorities, while complaining that there were still no contacts between them and the official tbilisi.
Georgian prime minister Irakotze wrote a letter to US president Donald Trump and vice president Jay Di Di Vincent. He published the text of the Georgian letter on his Facebook page, the translation and rehearsal of its content leads to the echo of the Caucasus.
In a letter, the Prime Minister of Georgia indicates the “proximity of views” of the White House and the Georgia authorities and at the same time complained that there were still no contacts between them and the official Tbilisi. Kobahidze expects Trump’s “earnest struggle” in the “deep state” and the reboot of bilateral relationships under the new administration.
He remembered his previous letter to the US president and public statements, where he was discussing the readiness of Georgia’s authorities to begin “an updated strategic collaboration from the United States from clean leaves,” and criticizing no answer to all of these and US authorities and no contacts at a high level.
According to Kobahidze, Georgia for years has been a “reliable US partner in a difficult region.” He remembered Georgia’s participation in United States missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, claiming to be generally, this help saved a lot of money than the cost of help for Georgia.
At the same time, the Georgian prime minister said he would not consider the assistance “provided to save the Saakashvili regime” and “financing through the US Embassy, USAID, NED, Soros Foundation and other structures of programs aimed at radicalizing society, defeating the image of the Orthodox Church, which promotes gender and LGBT propaganda”.
“It has been given all this and Georgia’s continued readiness, to restore the strategic collaboration, the silence of the new administration seems to be misunderstood,” wrote Irakot Kobahidze.
He also taught the “ideological proximity” of Trump’s administration and the Georgia authorities.
“We have fully compatible with war assessments in Ukraine, gender and LGBT propaganda. We have clearly talked about the criminal activity of Deep State, USAID, NED and other structures a few years before you make similar statements,” said Georgia’s Prime Minister.
He complained that the penalties applied to the Bayden administration against Georgian officials were still acting, and recently adopted Megobari’s law – and blamed that Trump did not try to stop him (more about it – in the article “A Blow from Washington: that will change the US Congress Congress in support of Georgia”).
Kobahidze also complained to pro -european protesters who continued to exit the streets of Tbilisi, calling them “prepared and funded by USAID and NED.”
At the same time, Georgia’s Prime Minister said he was “maintaining optimism” and hoped that “Trump’s success in confrontation with the deep state” and the beginning of the “new stage of strategic cooperation in the United States”.
Remember, representatives of the US House of Congress were supported during the vote on May 6, Bill Megobari.Act, the full name of which was the “Law of strengthening and mobilizing the potential of liability, stability and freedom in Georgia” (Megobari – Georgian – Friend -Red). The bill provides for the introduction of penalties and visa restrictions for high Georgian officials, along with a complete revision of relationships between the United States and Georgia, in particular, all programs for providing American assistance.
Earlier it was reported that Pace approved a resolution in which it imposed sanctions against Georgia’s power.
