US President Donald Trump called for Ukraine and Russia to 30 days.
After yesterday’s conversation with the President of Ukraine, Vladimir, the American leader called “ideally, a 30-day unconditional ceasefire.” He also threatened with new sanctions if the truce is not observed. Trump announced this about his social network Pravda.
As a president, I remain a devoted world to ensure peace between Russia and Ukraine with Europeans, and this world will be long! This truce should be a step towards a peace agreement. All this can be done very quickly, and I am ready to join at any time, if my services are necessary, the message says.
Trump also hoped that the decision on the truce of Kyiv and Moscow would still be made and would be observed. He added that negotiations with Russia and Ukraine are still ongoing.
The leader of America also thanked for “attention to this problem.”
We will remind, in the evening of May 8, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky talked with US President Donald Trump. They discussed further steps to the world and agreed on the part of the Verkhovna Rada of the mining agreement with the states.
Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready for negotiations “in any format”, but the Russian Federation should show the seriousness of its intentions to end the war, starting with a complete and unconditional ceasefire.
