Countries from the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) initiative invited Ukraine to an expanded collaboration. This is stated in the message of the Norway government.
“We agree to invite Ukraine to an expanded partnership with the United Expeditionary Corps. The Russian War against Ukraine puts Europe in the most serious situation from the security point of World War II. Our support in Ukraine remains unstable. has become closer to Jef, is also important for the security and stability of our corner Jonas.
Ukraine’s support is the main theme of the Jef Summit. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky participated in some parts of the Oslo City Hall meeting in digital format.
Countries also agree that JEF should strengthen their work for the best coordination and cooperation with NATO.
