“To strengthen the pressure on Putin, I announced the largest package of penalties introduced,” Cyrus Starkmer said.
The British government had earlier made it clear that penalties were associated with the Russian “Shadow Fleet” – 100 tankers carrying oil would fall under them.
It is believed that these ships since the beginning of 2024 have carried oil products worth more than $ 24 billion.
London says that in a new package under Britain’s penalties there will be more “Shadow Fleet” tanks than under the penalties of any other country.
Earlier it was reported that Russia led the 76 tankers by the water of NATO countries for fake insurance.
