The SBU military counterintelligence detained an agent of Russia in the Zone of Military operations in the Kharkiv region. He was a contractor of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces, who worked in Russian military intelligence (GRU).
According to the case, the traitor “exhausted” the invaders of the location of the connection, in which he served in the direction of Koruansk, the SBU press service reported on May 6.
It was documented that the messenger’s agent went to the curator from the Russian GRU and handed it to him through the “voice” coordinates of the units.
According to the geolocation of the agent, missile bombs were prepared.
Military counterintelligence revealed hostile intentions and prevented their implementation.
The traitor was detained, removed the phones as evidence.
According to the investigation, the involved person was remotely recruited by the Muskovites in January. SBU installed his curator – military intelligence officer of the Russian Federation, which is located on the front of the Eastern Front.
The traitor provided by suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed in martial law). He was taken into custody without collateral.
