The former head of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine commented on the transition of the Armed Forces to the building system. He placed the column on the web site Militar.
Zaluzhni said that in 2022 an armed forces were proposed, which provided for the hierarchy of the “corps brigade” in the land forces, but the initiative was blocked.
He wrote that at the initial stage of complete invasion of the Armed Forces Management system, there were problems at both functional and hierarchical levels. That is why the General Staff of the Armed Forces in the summer of 2022 initiated the transition to army buildings.
It is not enough to say – this is not enough. A great job was done to prepare the very model that will respond to requests not only today, but also the future. In the end, it was necessary not only to propose the structure of the governing body, but also the security agencies, communication, logistics and, ultimately, of constant deployment points, writes Zaluzhny.
Already in 2022, when the war was gaining momentum, and we tried to immediately restore the management system thanks to the creation of the army corps, one statesman told me: “This is the Soviet relic.” It is a pity that some members of the military leadership were found by those who supported this opinion at that time, – writes to the Saluzhni.
He said that the DSHV building, which was about to start training abroad and remained only on paper.
The military administration is a complex body. Therefore, of course, I agree that he is not perfect. But at the same time, the governing body is not only important, but also impressive – both for the enemy and for excessive centralization. Therefore, success on the battlefield tomorrow completely depends on how well the new managerial authorities will be ready. It doesn’t matter what names they will have and what the names of the commanders will have.
