The new executive director of the European Defense Agency (EOA) is German Major General Andre Denk. The EU countries first came to the military to manage this structure. On Monday, May 5, the EOA press service reported.
It was noted that the appointment took place at the recommendation of the agency leader and the high EU representative for foreign activities and security policies Cai Kallas.
According to him, Denk has a significant operational experience and a deep understanding of European defense needs. Therefore, his EOA leadership will be a “great advantage” for the Defense Department.
