In the Bowry on May 5, after about 13 hours, in the territory between lyceums No. 5 and No. 8, the dog attacked the students who left schools after lessons.
According to eyewitnesses, the animal did not look homeless and probably owners, the police of the region of Kyiv and the head of the city council of Bravirsky Igor Saposhko reported.
As a result of the attack, seven children were injured in the framework of various severity. All victims were immediately hospitalized, their condition is satisfactory. The doctors provided first aid and performed the necessary procedures, including vaccination against rabies. Children are now under constant monitoring of medical workers.
In particular, law enforcement officers will find out if the dog has the owners and how he got into the lyceum.
The mayor of Brovia accepted the situation under personal control and promised that all the necessary measures would be taken to ensure security in educational institutions of the city.
