Lithuania plans to allocate 1.1 billion euros to strengthen borders with Belarus and Russia. This should implement the project in ten years. It was reported by the Belarusian service Liberty Radio With a reference to the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania on Monday, May 5.
Currently, a “intensive” task is carried out to determine how to “ensure the integrity of the Baltic Defensive Line”. In particular, 800 million euros of total cost will be spent at anti -tank mines.

Lithuania aims to deepen irrigation canals, restore forests to borders and plant trees on major roads to protect the civilian and military population.
Additional steps provide for “capabilities of electronic struggle, the system for combating drones and strengthening observation and early warning system.”
