The White House -owner has connected new penalties to Kremlin’s readiness to move toward a peace agreement.
US president Donald Trump said Senator Lindsay Graham to new “devastating” penalties against the Russian Federation could sign if the Kremlin would not go to a peace agreement. Trump said of this in an interview with NBC News.
The journalist asked Trump if he would sign a penalty document if the situation would come to the point that the United States would disappear in negotiations.
“Well, it depends on whether Russia is acting in the way that comes to the world. We want a peace agreement. We want to reach Russia and Ukraine’s permission. We think we are good enough, and we can save a lot of people from death. We will save a lot of money too,” Trump replied.
He noted that the United States and Europe spend money, and for Europe this issue is more important than Washington. Trump also accused United States ex-president Joe Biden for allegedly sending money and had no idea what was going on.
“Bidden didn’t control anything. He just sent money there, no one had the idea of what was going on, why they were doing it, why they were sending it. And these are so much money,” the head of the White House was completed.
Earlier, the media wrote that American officials have completed the development of new economic penalties against Russia. However, it is unknown if Trump approved these penalties.
Note that the “crushed” penalty in the American Senate was announced on May 1. Senator Lindsay Graham said he was working on a bill for new sanctions against the Kremlin, as well as against states that continued to buy oil, gas and other major goods and resources from Russia.
