The American leader has admitted that Russia wants to get the whole of Ukraine, but has said nothing about the ability to occupy the least regions that are openly claimed.
US president Donald Trump said Russian dictator Vladimir Putin aims to occupy the entire Ukraine territory, but he has to leave these ambitions. He made such a statement during an interview with NBC News on May 4.
According to Trump, if Russia wants to end a peace agreement for the end of the war, which has begun itself, you will need to leave the ambitions to occupy the entire territory of Ukraine.
“Russia needs to renounce all Ukraine. Because this is exactly what they want,” Trump emphasized.
According to him, in the absence of his intervention, Moscow is “fighting for the whole of Ukraine.” The presenter clarified whether it was a question of the entire Ukraine territory, and not the only part claimed by the Russian Federation. Trump replied unfairly:
“No, no. Russia has to give up all Ukraine. Because Russia wants the whole of Ukraine,” he said.
Trump also said the leaders of the European Union repeatedly asked him to call Putin, as the Russian president ignored their calls.
In the past, Trump said that because of his respect, Putin could not get the whole of Ukraine.
