Sholts made the final public speaking

Olaf Scholz, who left the post of the Federal Chancellor of Germany, in his final public speaking, in this post, spoke for united and peaceful Europe. On Saturday, May 3, reports DW.

Sholts spoke at a ceremony at Neuengammi’s Hamburg Memorial on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of the European war and the release of concentration camps.

Sholts emphasized that Germany is a special responsibility in history. According to him, the most important lesson in World War II was to understand the need to finally end the war between the people of Europe.

He remembered the ongoing war in Ukraine and called the actions of Vladimir Putin, who began a new war in Europe, tragedy and unacceptable. He noted that Europe is based on the principles of independence, democracy and law management, which is not compatible with military imperialism and violation of international customs.

According to the Chancellor, not only external challenges, but also the internal actions of autocrats, extremists and populations are now at risk for Europe. Germany, according to him, is obliged to prevent it, remembering what the policy of violence and hate is.

The new coalition in Germany must finally be formed on May 5. The next day, May 6, Bundestag will vote for a new Chancellor. It is assumed that he will be the head of CDU Friedrich Mertz. On the same day, his government will happen.

German Chancellor Olaf Sholts, who soon left the post, planned to continue his political career as a Bundestag representative.

The German Federal Office for Constitutional protection after many months of review has classified the entire alternative to Germany as a lawless system. However, such a decision does not mean its prohibition, but provides only special services for administration.
