The law on restrictions related to Russia’s invasion against Ukraine provides for finishing applications for Schengen and national visas from Russians and Belarusians – except in cases passing through foreign ministry. Also, applications for temporary residence from citizens of the Russian Federation are not accepted if they do not have a valid visa or permission to live in Lithuania or another EU country.
In addition, Russian and Belarusians who came from the European Union are undergoing additional checks for threats to national security, public order, politics, health or international relationships. They are also forbidden to bring Ukrainian hryvnias throughout the Lithuanian border. Importing agricultural and feed products from Russia and Belarus is also prohibited in Lithuania.
