The Republic of Poland allowed Ukrainian companies to carry out commercial transport by trucks of the Euro-3 environmental standard. This was announced on Wednesday, July 20, on the Facebook page of Ukrtransbezpeka.
“After the signing of the Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on cargo transportation by road, Poland was added to the list of countries with the permitted entry of Euro-3 class trucks,” the statement said.
In total, at the moment, 21 EU countries have approved the transit of commercial vehicles of Ukrainian carriers that meet the Euro-3 environmental standard.
Ukrtransbezpeka clarified that the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is currently negotiating the entry of Euro-3 class trucks with representatives of France and Sweden.
It is known that under environmental standards it is customary to define a range of values of indicators of harmful emissions to the environment, which must be followed by internal combustion engines of a car.
The Euro-3 environmental standard has been introduced for cars since 2000.
