Volodymyr Zelenskyy President proposed punishment for deputies of people who do not vote for the US agreement on minerals.
The head of state admitted that part of the deputy corps of the Verkhovna Rada was not going to vote for the final approval of the agreement with America. That is why he urged to cancel visas in the United States with deputy people who will not vote for the fossil agreement. Zelensky announced this, communicating with reporters.
I think that the United States of America just needs to cancel their visas. I honestly think. They come to the USA every month. They tell how much in Ukraine, how they know how to end a war very quickly, which are important parts of Ukraine, which are not very important. After they pass the corridors of the relevant congressmen or senators, they say that they are friends from the USA, brothers forever, and then return to Ukraine and do not vote for the fact that the Security of the United States of Ukraine or the current President of the United States depends on America or for the US president, ”he said.
The President expressed the hope that the parliament ratifies the fossil agreement without problems. And he stated that if one of the deputies of the people did not vote for her, it would be their problem.
We recall that on April 30, the governments of Ukraine and the United States signed an interstate agreement on joint investments in the restoration of Ukraine after the war. It provides for the creation of an investment parity fund for the production of more than 50 types of resources – from lithium to oil, maintaining Ukraine’s control over invalidity.
Bloomberg said that the signed agreement will provide the states with privileged access to new investment projects for the development of natural resources, including aluminum, graphite, oil and natural gas.
Zelensky believes that the fund created in accordance with the agreement and the agreement on mineral resources gives Ukraine the opportunity to protect future investments in the USA “and the belief that we will build the right economic investment.”
