The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that a new special battalion will be formed on the territory of the republic, ready to carry out “any tasks.” On Wednesday, July 20, he announced on his Telegram page.
He said the battalion would be made up of the police and the National Guard. In quantity, it will reach 800 people.
“We transferred 800 people from the police, from the National Guard, who went through the entire Chechen military campaign, were in Ukraine, some were in Syria. We transferred them to a special purpose regiment so that the regiment could leave any time, any day and can do any work,” he said.
At the same time, he said that he wanted to “defend the motherland” from “Satanist ideas of sexual immorality” even on the territory of Russia.
“There are still many young people in the Chechen Republic who want to serve their people, religion, traditions and customs,” he added.
It will be remembered that Kadyrov explained why he sent his militants to Ukraine.
