Ukraine expressed its willingness to work on agreed points, and now the turn is behind Russia, Keith Kelloglog said.
Ukraine and USA delegations have joined the list of 22 “very specific” actions in recent negotiations in London. They can be the basis for further war -aggravation agreements. This statement on Eve was made by special US president representatives in Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellog in the air of the Fox News television channel.
According to him, in London the parties made a so -called “Terminological Sheet”.
“We offered 22 very specific actions. And after very much, sincere and difficult discussions with Ukrainians, we believe we are in a very good position. They don’t like everything, but no one likes the final position you went to. It was normal when you were doing any conversation. But I think I was in a good position,” Kellogue said.
He says Ukraine has expressed a willingness to work on agreed points, and now the turn is for Russia.
“We have one side. Now we have to come from the other side – from Putin. And I think we’re close. It’s the last 100 yards to the target. The hardest,” Kelllog said, comparing the marathon negotiation process, where the last kilometer was the hardest.
He made sure Russia did not win the war in Ukraine and last year and a half it had no “no serious success”, so “when the Russian Federation said it won, it wasn’t like that.”
Kelllol also mentioned the activation of Ukraine’s support from Europe.
“They’re really ready to strengthen it now, if necessary, supporting Ukraine. So, it’s a situation in the path. No one will win this war by the military way. It will be done through diplomacy. And I think the Ukrainians understand it since last week, and I think Russians should understand it,” Kellogue added.
Earlier, Keith Kellogo called the absurd three -day truce in May, announced by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He recalled that the United States was interested in a long -term stop in Ukraine.
Remember that Russia does not plan to agree to the proposal of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about a 30-day Truce, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said. He remembers Russia’s “nuances”, which really makes it impossible for a long -term stopping.
