China and Brazil have made a statement in Ukraine

China and Brazil aim to use the “world -friendly” group created at their initiative to promote the search for the political decision of the Ukrainian crisis. It was said by the Foreign Ministry of PRC van and the Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to President Brazil Selso Amim at a meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Ukrinform report on Wednesday, April 30.

The parties exchanged views on the “crisis in Ukrainiano” (as officers in China and Brazil who called the Russian war against Ukraine – ed.).

Remember that in May 2024, China and Brazil published a joint statement from six points with their vision in ways to end the war in Ukraine. In it, among other things, dialogue and negotiations have been called the only way to solve the “crisis in Ukrainiano”, and also suggested to hold “at the same time” a peace conference with equal participation of all parties and discussing all peaceful plans.

At the same time, the document does not mention the restoration of the sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine’s territory and Russia’s penalty for violating international agreements and the aggressive nature of the invasion of a neighboring state.

In September 2024, in the field of UN General Assembly, China, Brazil and several other Global South countries, they created a “world -friendly friend” platform, where they would contribute to the peaceful regulation of the war in Ukraine.
