The Hague: first charges could be filed before the end of the year

The International Criminal Court and Ukraine are negotiating the transfer of at least one captured Russian official to The Hague.

The International Criminal Court has reasonable suspicion of Russian troops being under the court’s jurisdiction. The first charges could be filed before the end of 2022 or early 2023. Bloomberg reported this.

The International Criminal Court and Ukraine are negotiating the extradition to The Hague of at least one captured Russian official who could theoretically testify against Russian military officials.

The agency recalls that after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights recorded more than 11,500 civilian casualties.

Earlier it was reported that Britain will allocate £ 2.5 million to Ukraine to investigate the crimes of the Russian Federation.

Turning point. Russia’s crimes in Ukraine were discussed in The Hague
