The Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration-Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina has come to a working Hungary visit. He reported it on Facebook on Tuesday, April 29.
The main issues of the visit are the development of the bilateral dialogue of Ukraine and Hungary, the protection of the rights of national minorities, and the possibilities of cooperation sector.
The official also visit the bilingual Hungarian-Ukrainian Secondary School and Gymnasium in Budapest, consulted an expanded format on the protection of national minority rights and the development of mutual conversations between the two countries.
The Ukrainian delegation included the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yevgeny Kudryavets, General Director of the Government Office of Coordination of European and Euro -atlantic Integration Alexander Ilkov, Deputy Head of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom Igor Lossesky, People’s Deputy Julia Grishin, Ambassador to Hungary, Fedor Shandor, Deputy Heady of Transcarathian State Administration Igor Shinkaryuk and foreign ministry representatives.
From the Hungarian side, the delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Levente Meter.
As you know, Hungary blocks Ukraine membership in the EU. The European Union will convince Hungary not to hinder Ukraine’s progress on the way to become a member of the European Union through dialogue.
The Hungarian government from the very beginning of a great war in Ukraine has made unfriendly statements, as well as actions against Kyiv. Recently, Viktor Orban actually appointed an ultimatum in the European Union not to accept Ukraine in the EU.
