56% of Americans do not approve Donald Trump’s approach to war in Ukraine, 35% support
Thus, according to the New York Times and Siena College survey, 56% of the respondents as a whole do not approve of Trump’s approach to war. In particular, 42% of them expressed categorical disapproval.
At the same time, 35% of respondents expressed support for Trump’s actions. Of these, 20% are “strongly approved”, another 15% “approved to some extent”. 9% could not answer this question.
Among the voters of the Republican Party, 74% are supported by Trump, and 90% of the democrats were strongly not approved by the US President.
62% of independent voters oppose the approaches of the White House to the war in Ukraine and 29% support it.
