About 62% of US residents believe their country is moving in the wrong direction, and 40% calls Trump a “terrible” leader.
Most of the citizens of the United States believe that their country is moving in the wrong direction. This has been proven by the results of the survey, conducted on the eve of 100 days of Donald Trump’s stay as president. The Center for Research of Public Relations Associated Press-NORC survey on Saturday, April 26, led the publication The Hill.
It is noted that most Democrats believe that Trump is not good or strongly performing their work, and that most Republicans are opposite of opinion.
Nearly four out of ten Americans believe President Trump is a “terrible” leader in his second term.
A sociological study showed that nearly two out of ten respondents believed he was doing his work common, and three – that he was a good or good president.
The survey also showed that 24% of Americans believe Trump is focused on proper priorities.
At the same time, 44% were convinced that the President had chosen false priorities. 21% of respondents believe he focuses on both priorities, and 10% cannot decide the answer.
At the same time, 62% of respondents believe the country is moving in the wrong direction, while 37% is optimistic.
The opinions of the respondents are expected to vary depending on the party’s affiliation.
Most Republicans agree with the President’s decisions during the first few months of his stay at the Oval Office.
More than half of the members of the Republican Party – 54% – they said it focused on the right activities. 13% of Republicans believe Trump has chosen incorrect priorities.
Democrats usually disagree with such assessments. 75% of members of the democratic party believe that Trump has false priorities, while 11% say he has an equal combination of good and bad intentions.
The AP-NORC survey was conducted from April 17 to 21. 1260 American adults were interviewed. The error is a plus minus 3.9%.
Earlier it was reported that Trump’s approval rating according to the results of the first quarter of his second term as president of the United States were 45%.
