In the Black Sea, a ship was arrested, which illegally exported Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported today, April 25, the press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and SBU.
The operation was carried out by the State Border Service and SBU – as part of comprehensive measures to counteract the economic crimes of the Russian Federation – the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that in the information of the investigation, this ship at the end of 2024 delivered about 5 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat from the port of Sevastopol.
He was taken from the temporarily occupied part of the south of Ukraine. To hide the true origin of the cargo, the ship passed under the flag of one of the Asian countries – this is how the “shadow fleet” of the Russian Federation works, ”said in Dpuuu
During the search on board, navigation equipment, documents and other evidence of participation in illegal transportation were removed.
The ship was arrested, the crew was transferred to procedural actions. The preliminary investigation continues.
