The meeting in London was held on April 23 by a Ukrainian delegation with representatives of the participating countries of the coalition of those who want.
Ukraine was represented by the presidential office Andrie Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibig and the Minister of Defense Rajima Umarov. In the UK, the national security Prime Minister Jonathan Powell, from the France-President Advisor Emmanuel Bonn, as well as from the German-adviser Chancellor in foreign policy and security, Jens pleutner. Yermak reported this in a telegram.
According to the head of the Office of Zelensky, this was the second meeting in this format, and the first took place in Paris last week. Today, the parties continued a deep dialogue aimed at achieving a fair and sustainable world in Ukraine. It was emphasized that the participants were committed to the peaceful efforts of US President Donald Trump.
Yermak noted that Kyiv is grateful to the allies for their firm support and the general desire to stop the war as soon as possible. Nevertheless, he stated that Moscow also refuses to stop the fire, postpone the process and trying to manipulate negotiations.
But the international unity and clear position of our partners do not leave this chance, ”he wrote.
The official added that the parties agreed to continue regular consultations to achieve a fair world in Ukraine.
We recall that the media reported that the leading diplomats of the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany and Ukraine postponed the planned meeting in London for negotiations at a high level. However, there were negotiations between high -ranking officials from five countries.
