Jay Di Vincess hopes to start the “true construction of the best Russia and the best Ukraine.”
The United States has suggested in Russia and Ukraine a peace agreement, which provides for the exchange of territories and freezing the conflict about the current collision lines. US vice-president Jay Dee Vincent said during a visit to India, Bloomberg reports on Wednesday, April 23.
“The real lines, somewhere near them, are where you will eventually, in my opinion, will get new conflict lines,” Vincent told reporters after the end of traveling with Taj Mahal.
He added that this means that both Ukraine and Russia need to renounce some territories that each of the parties controls. And in the end, the line of demarcation probably is probably not exactly the front line that is formed today.
“You need to perform some territorial exchanges,” Vincent said.
He noted that ultimately, the line of demarcation was probably not definitely coinciding with the front line, formed today.
According to him, to stop the killings, both sides must “put weapons, let it go and start the real construction of the best Russia and the best Ukraine.”
In the past, on Wednesday, Vincent said the United States made Russia and Ukraine a “very clear proposal” regarding the path to a peace agreement. They should be in agreement, otherwise the United States will leave the negotiation process.
Also today, the British Foreign Ministry has confirmed that peace negotiations at the level of war ministers in Ukraine along with colleagues from the USA and Europe, which should be held today, has been postponed after state secretary Marco Rubio that he cannot be present. According to media reports, this happened because of Kyiv’s refusal to accept the US plan in Crimea.
And on the eve of the media has learned about the “final proposal” of the United States for Kyiv and Moscow. We talked about a single -page document submitted by Americans to Ukrainian officials in Paris last week.
