On April 22, the District Court of Pechersky Kyiv continued the preventive measure for the existing Harkiva of General Yuri Galushkin in the form of detention for 60 days – until June 20.

In a commentary on the journalists, Galushkin’s lawyer Dmitry Krugova said that on April 17, the general had an operation to remove the metal structures that were created as a result of the collarbone, and since then he has been in the intensive care unit.
The first meeting was to take place on Friday. Doctors gave a written response, as far as I know from the words of the investigator, that he cannot participate in a video conference or come to court personally, ”he said.
According to the lawyer, the meeting began on April 21 and lasted until the second morning of April 22 and continued in the morning after the break.
The prosecutor said that Galushkin is in the 12th hospital, they cannot bring him, and he does not want to participate on the Internet. The lawyer rejected the prosecution and explained that the general had no means to communicate.
According to the judge, the court secretary went to the hospital to connect the general to the meeting on the Internet.
Krugova noted that by decision of Judge Galushkin on April 21, he was connected with the help of a video connection with the court hearing, but he “hardly spoke and did not understand what was happening.”
Then Galushkin lost consciousness, but the judge did not stop the meeting. It lasted almost 2 nights. The judge announced the break to this day 9 in the morning and decided to deliver Galushkin to the courtroom. In the morning he was not delivered. The meeting took place in a closed format, but by 11:30 I again announced a break to find out Galushkin’s condition and understand whether he could take part in the meeting, ”the lawyer said.
On January 20, the Security Service and the State Bureau of Investigations were detained by former commanders: two generals and colonels, from whom the enemy was able to capture part of the territory of the Kharkiv region in May 2024.
Among them was British General Galushkin (eccentric of the Operational Tactical Department of Kharkiv), Lieutenant General Arthur Gorbenko (ECCO Candidate of the 125th (LVIV) of the territorial defensive brigade) and Colonel Ilya Lapin (ECOMANDER 415 BATTALION 23 Ombr).
