According to the investigation:
- Employees of the institution were mocking persons who refused to cooperate with the administration, violated the order or complained about the actions of employees. For this purpose, a special room was used in the medical unit, which was used as a torture chamber;
- In a small room, prisoners were tied to a metal bed, leaving water without food, water and the ability to use the toilet for several days. One of the victims over the past three years has experienced such poor treatment more than ten times.
It is noted that a few days ago, DBR investigators regularly abused prisoners.
On April 15 of this year, pre -prepared fabric strips were tied to a metal layer of the prisoner. After he tried to free the victim, he used a special remedy – shackles. The prisoner was limited by the movement within 19 hours, ”the prosecutor’s office said.
Two employees of the institution – the next and senior construction of the Department of Regime and Protection – were informed of suspicion of torture committed by a group of persons by a group of persons (part 3 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code).
It was they who directly brought the victim to the room and tied it to the bed, ”said DBR.
The problem of choosing preliminary detention is currently being solved. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment up to 12 years.
