The American congressman-regional Brian Fizpatrick wrote a message for Putin in the shell. The armed forces helped with delivery.
Fitzpatrick, who arrived in Ukraine on April 17, was not only in Kyiv, but also visited the front near the border with Russia.
It was a great honor for me to convey a very “personal” message to Vladimir Putin from the front line. The only information that can be reported is that the message was delivered for sure, ”wrote Fizpatrick.
He also called on his colleagues not to reduce assistance to Ukraine.
The place where we are now is just one of the examples of the territory occupied by Russia. It was a chic forest. This is what the Russians do. They simply level buildings with the ground, burn and destroy civilian areas. They are stunned by meat abandoned by artillery, without considering losses.
But the good news is that (…) men and women of the Ukrainian army, like the US military, have an excellent moral spirit. They fight for democracy, they are fighting for their freedom. We all must support them in America.
I urge all my colleagues in Congress to come to the front. It is not just to go to the center of Kyiv, but also to spend time with these men and women who are embodied by our fighters in 1776 (USA, independence wars – ed.).
Ukrainians, like Americans, love their independence, and they are struggling to defeat her, ”he added.
In March, Fitzpatrik, his republican colleague, Mike Turner and Democrat Jerry Connol, presented a resolution on the inconvenience of the annexation of the territories of Ukraine.
