Betrayals always taste bitter. Perhaps even more so during the war, when they are for the benefit of the enemy. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this weekend announced the dismissal of several of his relatives, the equivalent of the Minister of Justice, Iryna Venediktova, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. It was he who worked alongside the former comedian during his 2019 campaign to prosecute Russian troops for war crimes since the beginning of the invasion. Before the war, the 43-year-old lawyer, who was already in the hot seat, was dismissed from his position in the ranks of his ministry on suspicion of treason. The same reasons prompted Vladimir Zelensky to dismiss the head of intelligence services, but the decision is much more symbolic.
