Yesterday in Kyiv, April 16, an attack on a journalist occurred near one of the residential complexes of the Solomensky district.
This was reported by the Kyiv police press service.
According to preliminary data, the attacker suddenly hit a passerby – by escaping from the scene, ”the police said. -A victim was 69-year-old Kyiv, an employee of one of the national media. He was hospitalized. Law enforcement officers deleted criminal tools and other material evidence from the scene.
Criminal proceedings in accordance with part 1 of art. 121 of the Criminal Code is intentional serious bodily harm. Measures are taken to detain the attacker.
The police are not calling by name. The publication of the “public” on its website reports that in the evening an attack was made on the famous journalist and producer “Public Broadcasting” Yuri Makarov.
It is noted that Makarov was hospitalized in serious condition. At the moment, there is no threat to his life.
