The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova appointed the next election to the legislative body on September 28, 2025. TV8.MD reported it on Thursday, April 17.
The decision was made by 57 votes of representatives of the ruling PAS party during the plenary meeting.
It was noted that the 32 parliamentaries avoided voting. Among them were 25 Bloc representatives of communists and socialists (BC), two independent representatives, four non -associated and a PAS – Igor Kir’yak representative.
The previous election in Moldova Parliament took place on July 11, 2021. Then two political parties and an electoral bloc went to the legislative body. The powers of the current composition of Parliament end in July 2025, while new elections must be assigned no later than 90 days before this period.
Remember that Moldovan authorities reported Russia’s huge -scale intervention in the election of the head of state.
