In one of the areas of the region of the Zaporzhiy, the Russians tried to make a big attempt to break. The enemy threw three tanks, 18 BMP, 41 motorcycle and MT-LB. The captors of the 17th Poltava NSU brigade were against the invaders along with neighboring defense forces. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on April 15.
It is noted that the Russians stormed Ukrainian positions during the day – from morning to evening. Nevertheless, the enemy’s breakthrough was stopped from the timely response of the defenders and their exact blows.
Now it was confirmed that during the battle, the guards destroyed two infantry combat vehicles and one MT-LB and excluded six invaders, and another 11 were injured.
We will recall that the fighters of the 93rd separate mechanized and 5th separate assault brigades of the Armed Forces and the Phoenix border team repelled a huge mechanized attack on the invaders near the time. The hostile column was defeated in the approach to Ukrainian positions.
