Canada aims to continue providing macroeconomic, humanitarian and other assistance to support the provision of basic services to Ukraine and contribute to its long restoration.
The ruling Liberal Party of Canada has confirmed that in the event of an election victory, it will provide Ukraine. On Monday, April 14, the Ukrinform wrote with a reference to the Party Election Office’s response at the request of the Ukrainians Congress of Canada.
The text of the Liberal Party’s statement of Canada plans to “continue macroeconomic, humanitarian and other supports to help Ukraine provide the provision of necessary services and contribute to its long -term restoration.”
“We will continue to protect our values of peace and stability, which continues to support Ukrainian and Ukrainians. We will provide a variety of military assistance, based on all over $ 4.5 billion. The annual support level will meet the needs of Ukraine and agree with the allies to ensure excellence,” the Party said.
Also at the ruling party they added that they promise to send frozen Russian possessions for the restoration of Ukraine.
“We will support the joint work in the legislative framework for reclaiming Russia’s frozen owners for the restoration of Ukraine,” said Canadian Liberals.
Earlier it was reported that Canada would provide Ukraine with a new military assistance package and Canada’s 5 billion dollars ($ 3.52 billion) obtained from frozen possessions of the Russian Federation.
It is noteworthy that in January Canada provides military assistance to Ukraine for 440 million dollars in Canada (over $ 300 million). Half of the amount is intended for the purchase of ammunition, and the rest is for the manufacture of military winter drones and equipment.
