The European Union has expanded sanctions against Iran for hostage acquisition

Penalties were agreed against seven individual Iran and two organizations for suppressing EU citizens.

On April 14, foreign Ministers of the EU adopted sanctions against Iran for suppressing European citizens. Reuters reported it.

It was noted that the penalties were agreed against the seven individual Iran and two organizations for suppressing EU citizens, which Brussels called the state hostage policy.

The list of penalties includes Tehran prison director Evin, as well as some judges and other workers in the judicial system. The main prison in the city of Shiraz is also among the organizations that have fallen under penalties.

Note that in December last year, Tehran police arrested Italy journalist in the day -to -day newspaper Il Foglio Cecilia Salu, who conducted reports from Iran.

As reported, Italy achieved the release of the journalist.
