The American president believes that there can be a good relationship between Ukraine and Russia.
Ukraine’s war -stop negotiations are good, but “there’s a moment you just need to determine or close.” US president Donald Trump has announced aboard Air Force One aircraft, Reuters reported on Sunday, April 13.
“In my opinion, relationships between Ukraine and Russia can be good, and you’ll see about it soon. There’s a moment you need to get to terms or close, and see what’s coming, but I think everything’s going well,” said the American leader.
The US President’s commentary sounded the day after his special representative Steve Whitkoff flew to St. Petersburg to meet with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Their conversation lasted more than four hours.
According to media reports, Whitkoff told Trump that the fastest way to achieve the ceasefire was to give Russia’s control in four regions of Ukraine, where Moscow conducted a pseudo -Referendums in 2022.
