The photo contest of World Press shot an invitation to the Russian photographer at the award ceremony.
From an increase in tension on the European continent, we can no longer receive guests represented by Russian organizations controlled by the state, the organizers said.
Representatives of the competition added that from this, Mikhail Tereshchenko was no longer invited to the Amsterdam Award ceremony.
Tereshchenko photographed anti -government protests in Georgia in 2024. In an interview with TASS, he said that he sent photographs of “released Maripol” to the photo of World Press, which he made during the “active phase of liberation” of the city.
