The NBU has updated regulations on the organization of internal audit in banks to introduce paperless technologies in the financial sector. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank.
It was noted that the changes were introduced in regulation No. 311, according to which the internal auditors of the bank are given the right to use not only paper documents, but also electronic documents for verification. It also clarifies the form (with the option to provide both in paper and electronic form) and the procedure for providing bank documents to the National Bank.
According to the amendments to Regulation No. 50, the bank shall have the right to provide the regulator (at its request, as well as authorized employees of the National Bank during the inspection) a copy of the internal banking regulations in the field of consumer. lending, both in paper and electronic form.
In addition, the requirement for a bank to place on its web page a picture of an individual – a credit intermediary, an individual entrepreneur – a credit intermediary was canceled;
The information will be used instead of a certificate from the tax authority to confirm the business reputation of an individual – a credit intermediary, an individual entrepreneur – a credit intermediary, the head (a person acting in his capacity) of a legal entity that is a credit intermediary, as well as employees of a credit intermediary that provides services to consumers. of the relevant body on the status of the taxpayer adjustments to the budget (if the payer is in arrears or not in payment of taxes, fees).
