A 46-year-old resident was detained in Dnieper, watching the echelons of the armed forces through a video trap in a bird house.
This was announced today, April 11, SBU press services and the regional prosecutor’s office Dnipropetrovsk.
According to the investigation:
- A pro -Russian woman who was looking for “light income” in a telegram at the end of 2024 established contact with the employee of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation;
- The suspect collected information about the whereabouts of the critical infrastructure, the placement and movement of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk;
- In order to track the movement of the armed forces in the front of the front, the atrocity equipped the “video one” opposite the railway – installed a remote video camera with an additional battery disguised on a tree. Thanks to this, Russian special services can track the quantity and cargo of military echelons in real time;
- She also walked around the area where she tried to identify and transfer the coordinates of mobile groups of air defense groups that protect the city -city;
- The collected data, including the exact coordinates and screenshots of Google maps, were transferred to the representative of Russian special services in the messenger to adjust the shocks.
SBU employees exposed the agent in advance, documented her crimes and detained the place of residence. At the same time, the Security Service took comprehensive measures to protect the routes of defense forces, the special service says.
During the searches, she was captured:
- a video camera with flashes;
- mobile phone;
- Seven-cards with evidence of crime.
The detainee reported suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 of the Criminal Code (state betrayal committed in martial law). The attacker is in custody. She is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
