Sweden will acquire Polish drones for the defense forces of Ukraine.
Buying an UAV will take place as part of new military assistance. The statement was made by Sweden Minister of Defense Paul Johnson after he visited the office of the producer of WB drones. He emphasized that cooperation between Swedish and Polish weapons will develop dynamically. This was reported in the Polish edition of Defense24.
I visited the WB group, and you have really impressive opportunities for drones, you are very innovative. But we need to have a more balanced relationship of weapons between Poland and Sweden, so in our last assistance package in Ukraine we reserved some purchases for purchases in the Polish defense industry, ”the Swedish minister said in an interview with Rzeczpospolitj.
It is not known which drones will be ordered from the Polish company and in what quantity.
It is known that fighters of the defense forces of Ukraine already have experience on the battlefield of Polish shock drones, as well as intellectual flits created by WB Group.
We will recall that on March 31, Sweden announced its largest military assistance package for Ukraine for almost 1.6 billion dollars, which provides support for air defense, artillery, satellite communication and marine potential of Ukraine.
