The rejection of the transport visa between Ukraine and the European Union was continued by the end of 2025.

This is the fourth continuation of such an agreement.

In particular, Ukrainian automobile carriers will continue to demand special permits. According to Prime Minister Denis Schmigal, Ukrainian exports to the EU were increased by 42%and at the expense of motorsport to Ukraine – by 37%.

The agreement on the liberalization of transport between Ukraine and the EU was signed in June 2022.

He opened Ukrainian carriers for the entry, transit and transportation of goods without the need to receive international permission, the number of which was limited.

On April 9, it became known that the EU would not continue the “rejection of a trading visa” with Ukraine after the expiration of the validity of June 5 and will return preliminary conditions. One of the European officials in the Comment “Euro really” spoke about this.

He added that this idea was discussed to leave trade preferences for some names of Ukrainian exports to the EU, such as steel.

In addition, the EU will continue to discuss amendments to Article 29 of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU for the development of trade conditions for both parties and support the economy of Ukraine that suffers from war, ”the official said.
