In 2024, the box office in China fell 23%, up to 42.5 billion Yuan (5.78 billion). Last year, only three foreign films were included in the top-10 cash films in the country: Godzilla and Kong: New EmpireCartoon Hayao Miyazaki Boy and bird And Alien: Romulus (8, 9 and 10th areas, respectively).
