- The reason for enrollment in the military unit was a certificate of passage of the military medical commission on January 30, 2025.
Earlier today, April 9, it became known that Nasirov did not arrive at the wax meeting. His defense noted that Nasirov was voluntarily mobilized in the armed forces, so he could not come to court. He did it voluntarily. In addition, on this basis, the defense submitted a request for suspension.
The accusation objected to the suspension of the proceedings, motivating the fact that Nasirov’s call to the court must first be challenged, and he can participate in the meetings remotely.
The court postponed this issue to collect information. The next meeting is scheduled for April 11.
Nasirov’s case is already at the stage of judicial debate and is approaching the proposal.
In May 2024, Verkhovna Rada made it possible to dismiss convicts from serving her sentence in exchange for contractual military service, but deprived such the right of higher corrupt officials.
Nasirov is accused of receiving a bribe for a return of VAT of 722 million.
