The disinformation is distributed by one of the most popular news accounts on the Chinese WeChat application.

The Canadian government discovered an operation of information related to China, which was directed against Prime Minister Mark Karni on the eve of the federal election. It was reported by the DPA that there was a reference to official resources.

According to the Rada Secretary of Canada, the Operational Group on Security and Intelligence has watched misinformation in the preparation campaign for the 45 -general election.

The disinformation is distributed by one of the most popular news news accounts on the Chinese WeChat-Youa-youmi-you-youm application, which, as mentioned, is associated with the central political and legal commission of the Communist Party of China.

Canadian reports state that the account has distributed false information for the Chinese language audience, especially for the people of Canada.

“The operation deliberately strengthened the false and coordinated narratives against Mr. Carney,” the document note.

In response, the Chinese embassy told Ottawa that he knew nothing about any “information operation”, and called the accusations “absurd and there was no land”.

Remember, China announced the introduction of restricted steps against Canada after Ottawa imposed sanctions against Beijing for human rights violations.
