These negotiations are concentrated exclusively in the work of the nations’ embassies. There are no safety issues on the agenda.
The United States and Russia in negotiations with Istanbul are plans to discuss the work of the embassy. The issues of the Russian war against Ukraine did not raise the parties. It was reported in a briefing by US State Department Temmi Bruce spokesman.
He confirmed that American and Russian delegates will meet in Istanbul on April 10 to “try to achieve the development of further stabilizing the work of bilateral missions.”
“There are no political issues or security issues in the agenda, and Ukraine is completely out of agenda. These negotiations are concentrated exclusively in the work of our embassies, and not in the normalization of bilateral relationships in general,” Bruce said.
According to him, the complete normalization of relations between the United States and Russia could occur only after the Russian war against Ukraine.
Keep in mind that the Russian Foreign Ministry press secretary Maria Zakharova has announced the second cycle of negotiations in the United States.
Earlier, the media reported that special US president Steve Vitkoff held a meeting with Kirill Dmitriev in Washington. For this, the United States temporarily raised penalties from Dmitriev and issued him a visa to enter the United States.
