The Ukrainian Football Association (UF) responded in honor of the memory of the former player of the Russian team, liquidated in Ukraine Alexy Bugaev.
The incident occurred during the 49th UEFA Congress in Belgrade.
The list of honors of dead members of the European football family, which are mentioned in the traditional annual memorable video, was the Russian extrathubol Alexei Bugaev. The list was provided for UEFA by the Russian Football Union. Bugaev was the volunteer of the Russian army during the complete military aggression of Russia against Ukraine. He consciously and, in his will, decided to go to the Ukrainian land, kill the innocent Ukrainian people and died last year from these circumstances.
UAF recalled a similar situation, and the other, a former football player, was also on this list, and also advocated illegally created invaders in temporarily occupied Crimea, club-Taurus.
