Myanmar’s military leadership announced on Wednesday, April 2, in a temporary stop at the civil war, to facilitate the provision of assistance after a strong earthquake in the country. The Associated Press reported it.
A Truce lasts until April 22 and aims to show condolences to people who suffer as a result of an earthquake.
The military leadership statement was made after the armed resistance group was announced by a unilateral temporary cease.
Remember, on March 28, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.4 took place in Myanmar. Shrcks are also felt in neighboring countries, especially in Thailand.
This earthquake has been the strongest in Myanmar in the last 100 years. Until April 2, it was known about 2886 dead, 4639 injured and 373 lost people.
