Justice in the country is an independent branch of power, and the law is one for everyone, emphasizing the French leader.
French President Emmanuel Macron first spoke of the sentence to the head of the Ultra -right Marine Le Pen, emphasizing the freedom of justice and the equality of all before the law. This was reported by the French government’s press secretary Sophie Prima in a briefing on Wednesday, April 2.
Macron also condemned the threats to the judges who decided in this case.
“The President repeated the three things. First, justice was independent, and secondly, threats to judges who continued the head of the National Association were completely unacceptable, and third, each had the right to equal justice, and the law was the same for everyone,” the press secretary mentioned.
Separately, the head of the State of France recalled that all participants in the trials “have the right to appeal.”
We reminded, earlier the US State Department Temmi Bruce’s press secretary, who answered the question of a court decision about Le Pen, spoke about “anxiety” because “people were removed from politics.”
He also told reporters that the American Foreign Ministry “was in the course of his sentence reports.”
It should be noted that Le Pen supports not only Trump management, but also the books of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. In particular, Dmitry Peskov believes that this sentence testifies to “removing European nations from democratic principles.”
