LNG carrier Minerva Limnos flying the Maltese flag arrived at the port of Klaipeda this morning and docked at the storage vessel of the Independence terminal.
“The gas carrier has delivered approximately 150,000 cubic meters of LNG to Klaipeda,” said Klaipedos nafta, the operator of the Klaipeda terminal.
The ship arrived from Lake Charles, Louisiana, where the Cameron LNG liquefaction plant operates.
It was also noted that this is the second batch of American LNG received by Lithuania this month.
As you know, this spring Lithuania will be the first of the EU countries to completely stop importing gas from Russia.
And at the end of June, Lithuania officially banned Russian gas imports, except for its transit to Kaliningrad.
